This year, more than any other before, the word decolonization is on every tongue.

Between demonstrations Black Lives Matter, the question of statues of Leopold II and the Special Commission on the Colonial Past, it seems that Belgium is slowly emerging from its collective amnesia. Where do we go from here ? How can we rethink our colonial memory? What place should we give to this colonial memory in our public space but also in our school textbooks and our museums? How can we decolonize our struggles today, whether they are anti-racist, environmental or feminist?
The CNCD-11.11.11, Mouvement PAC, CEC, Echos Communication, Hand in hand tegen racism, Imazi.Reine, and Justice et Paix, invite you to discuss, reflect and try to answer these questions but also to dissect the issues surrounding of colonial memory.
See you Tuesday, December 15 from 6 p.m. Zoom.
