Next Thursday, February 21, the Justice and Peace and Magma associations will organize a political debate between citizens and representatives of the main French-speaking parties on the theme “For solidarity migration!” ". Citizens are invited to question their future elected politicians on the theme of migration in view of the Belgian federal elections in May 2019.
This evening is part of a longer-term approach undertaken by our associations. On November 24, we brought together more than 40 young people and nearly a hundred citizens for a day of reflection on migration. During this day, several workshops were organized on different themes related to migration. The participants were able to obtain information, exchange information and formulate recommendations that they wish to address to their (future) representatives. It is the result of these workshops which will serve as the basis for the questions during our debate on February 21.
