Burundi is experiencing a period of tension, with the candidacy for a third term of its outgoing president. The elections are scheduled for June 26, but the Constitution as well as the peace agreements signed in 2000 limit the number of presidential mandates to two, hence significant popular protest, repressed in blood and terror.
This program was recorded a few days before the official announcement of the outgoing president's candidacy at the end of April.
